Have you watched this? He doesn't say anything useful in the first 1:50, so just continue from the timestamp if you haven't seen it. He's working with a 2006 Tacoma.

Is that like the joying Android HU's? When I hooked mine up I remember something about a pink wire and a brown wire. Then train the buttons in the headunit configuration. I didn't use any of that swrc adapter bs, just directly connected.

I drove my work truck home tonight, but can get you a picture of how mines wired up tomorrow.

Keep in mind, Toyotas wiring is 99% of the time ground switched. If your checking for power with one test lead at the switch wire, and the other at ground, you'll get a big fat nothing in the multimeter.

@Greddy don't forgot a transmission cooler since you'll be adding that trailer. Having just towed similar weight (4k ish) in approx 70-85 degree weather the transmission pan and convertor (based on ultragauge added pids) were getting up to 230-240 range WITH the tow package cooler.

I'll be upgrading to a better cooler when I flush my fluid.

Wow, can't say I've ever seen mine get that high, but can't think of anything I've towed that would even be close to 4k#. Maybe 2800-3000 max. And I have the cooler. Been wanting to upgrade it tho.

Hey everyone I disappeared until I needed something.

P0306 Misfire Cylinder 6. I did plugs 20k ago. I put on a new ignition coil. I will check the condition of the plug when I get home. Anything else I can check myself? Truck shudders on cold start for a few seconds and then acts normal. Coil didn’t fix it.

Could be a faulty injector as well, double check the plugs and swap them out(make sure they’re gapped correctly)
Next time instead of just buying a new coil swap the #6 coil into another cylinder and see if the problem follows the coil.

Front and Rear Locked, 35’s, Chevy 63” swap, Fox Suspension and a bunch of other shit too long to list.
Last two cylinder misfires in my wife’s runner where fuel injectors. First time I replaced it, second time I did sea foam in the tank, nothing but Chevron fuel for about 3 tanks and it cleared up. She always goes and buys the cheapest gas she can find. It would start up run and fine from a cold start. She works 8 minutes from the house so it would barley get warm, but if she went into town to the grocery store and it was warmed up it would throw a CEL and stutter and run like hell heading back home.

Anyone have experience with some big ol' dick....cepeks? Reading good reviews about the extreme countries. They look more like a mud tire than a hybrid, compared to other hybrid tires. Reminds me of the SST Pro. But they're fairly light, 63 lbs and come in D range (not putting E range on my truck). Only thing I don't like is the goofy logo on the sidewall, potential balancing issues and can flat spot if you let em sit for a little while.
