135 hours on this check coming up. 2 weeks

 

Dang I was really trying to get mine done 2nd weekend in August. In case I ran into any hiccups I would have time to order some parts before some stuff I have coming up.

 

Welcome to the Huntsville area. Looks like you are going to be just up the road from my house (10 minutes). Several of us work in HSV, so I'll keep an eye out if I start going back to the office any time soon. Awesome looking truck so it shouldn't be hard to spot around town.

Yo Phil. I'm booked for the next few weekends and after that I'm not totally sure, depends how work is going. From the sounds of it I'm going to be going crazy...

 

I've got until the end of Feb now. My axle is scheduled to be here Monday. I'm gonna need some help welding in the spring perches. I'm at your mercy with all of that. I'll take whatever help you offer

 

I've only got 110 at home, so it'll have to be at the shop, which can be done during hours. But that's all up in the air at the moment. This shits really starting to suck, makes my job almost impossible.

 

@gixxerphil text me late next week and I should maybe know me.

 

I don't know anything about welding, so I'll have to take your word on what amperage you need. The axle is a 3500lb axle. He sent the spring perches loose b/c I couldn't find the width for a stock Tacoma

Will do. I'm working through next Thursday.

 

It'd probably be ok, but for something like spring perches I'd like a bit more heat behind it. The axle housing probably isn't that thick, but when you weld a tube like that it soaks up the heat more so I like to bump up the amps a bit.

 

If you're willing to help(well....do it) me, I'll go wherever is needed.

 

Would appreciate info on the diode install if you have it.
