The only interstate that I will hit today will be 81 for about 10 miles. Other than that it’s just country roads and hoping for an early quit. Be safe out there with those weirdos on 4 wheels.

    Re the poll:

You forgot "Old Hippies" (Vancouver).

On a side note, @Canadian0rangeTaco is obviously from "Cowboys" (Alberta).

    Y'all ever do anything stupid?

I did something stupid yesterday afternoon, tried to pick up the fork frame to get it on the tractor and messed my lower back up. Took me 5 minutes to get my socks and work boots on this morning :frusty:

The back is a very complex and vulnerable part of the body. I think we tend to take it for granted when it’s healthy, but we realize how important it is when it’s injured.

I will never forget when I injured mine. I was snow sledding on a steep hill with some friends. I was flying down the hill and went off track towards a hump and a drop-off. I went airborne and landed hard, and knew something terrible had happened in my back.

I had to crawl and drag myself back to the car while my vision kept going gray from the pain (friends were laughing at me, thought I was playing it up).

Somehow I managed to drive home and spent the next four days laying in bed. That sucked.

Yeah, it seems to be fine now. I don’t take that for granted, though. I’m always mindful about lifting properly and being safe... lesson learned.
