    The newer kits have male and female Ends of the wires, the older kits has just the male ends, requiring the double female PCB board

    Yes a complete new style kit, the little black box does all the “calibrating.” This all installed on the vehicle and left there. How I understand it’s works is buy interrupting the speed signal and modulating it. The bulk of the wires are just pass throughs. You might need a few more zip ties ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I know you specified 2016-2018, but do you know if this will work on a 2019? Would be interested if so :)

    Hypertech website lists the part number as 730123 for the 2019

    That's the number on the box as I'm sure you saw. My guess is it was manuf before '19's were out, thus the '16-'18 ym.

    Best bet is just to call Hypertec to double verify the number you pulled off the site.
