    this is par for the course. the miners have broken out, but the pullback always comes. I'll be unloading PLTM today..

    the metals have also broken out, but Gold needs a $80-$100 correction before I'll get interested again..but going heavy at that time

    Market makes no sense right now due to all the artificial pumping from stimuli and eligibility for and pending inclusion in the S&P500. Elon tells a good story. Hop on the dream train, look at it again in a week, and set a stop loss after you've made several thousand dollars off the most speculative stock in the history of the market- it's been working for me for the last 2 years lol

    Yeah I regret buying like a thousand shares of other stocks instead of like 2 or 3 Tesla lol. would have done a lot better

    Just my opinion, so not to offend anyone, but I see TSLA following the same path as Yahoo stock in the 1990s.

    Exactly. Could of, would of, should of's will drive your stress levels through the roof. They make you not trust your trading strategy. Then you don't execute when you should and miss out on profits. Have a plan and stick to it. Take the gain, learn from the losses and forget about the rest.

    Really, the S&P500 eligibility is probably the biggest driver for the spike Tesla has seen the last couple weeks. Yahoo grew somewhere around 70% in the 4 days while they were deliberating on eligibility, and now that information spreads faster, we are, as you'd expect, seeing the run up happen with a farther lead time.

    Once it's included on the index, all of the big index funds and ETFs (i.e. SPY, Vanguard, etc.)have to buy it, so volume will go insane and price will go up even more. People are getting theirs now. Getting onto the S&P500 is one of the few times that pretty much everyone gets to see a big pump several days or weeks in advance.

    I don't disagree, but I also don't plan on holding any of it past the spike lol. Again, using stop-loss is your best friend

    I consider myself a value investor. I look at how much I have to pay for a share of a company, based on the profit it brings in. How much does a dollar of profit cost me? I can't even look at things like TSLA with my mindset, although sometimes I wish I could. Just can't.
