Most people wrap and rest their shoulders.. which drops the temp.. but a small pair of knit stretchy gloves covered by food grade gloves is more than enough to keep your delicate hands safe!

I like it... Don't let the naysayers ruin your prize! Glad the Wife-Fi didn't kill ya!!

I don’t wrap, I like it to build the crust. The rest doesn’t change the temp much at all as it’s keeping temp. The claws I got for Father’s Day make quick work of the pork with little mess for me. :)

I did find some missing paint on the handle. not bent or scraped, but just a bad job.
I'll get a pic later and I'm gonna call weber just to see. It's just the black paint showing through.

    I think all
Of them are like that since they are covered with the plastic handle anyway. But let me know what they say. They might send you an extra bowl and you can use that for your salad :D

The part that was covered by the plastic was almost all black but there is still a spot on the side of that handle. not bent or really bad so no harm. But a new bowl would be fun to make into something

Sounds like they need to do something about quality. I thought they had the China import things all worked out.

Long time no see. I’m the idiot that went on a road trip during quarantine.

the abomination: I never went to St. Louis or Kansas City. I got Lockhart bbq in Dallas though that was damn good. And then browns when I was in Austin, my favorite bbq joint. Unfortunately no other bbq. I didn’t even make it to Tennessee for hot chicken, I got royals in Louisville instead. I’m sure I missed a lot of good food but I wouldn’t trade all the bbq in the world for the route I took and stops I made. MAYBE I regret not getting some Carolina ribs in the Carolinas. But. That’s about it.

now. COVID rest tomorrow and once the result comes back (assuming negative) I can hit the stores and get me some stuff to use this vampire rubs on.

No issue with mine. That part of the handle that is black is not bare metal. Just black, but smooth and painted “black”. I think they just decided to leave that part alone and save 5cents worth of paint :p

Damn legs were a pain in the @ss to push in

    overall, fedex did good
