Haha of course. I welcome the pestering and wish I could get these out sooner.

I'd love to start taking preorders for the 2016's-2017's now but I don't want to confuse people with the 2018's+ if someone accidentally orders one and deal with all the potential complications. Although since I won't be doing any modifications to the 2016's-2017's I will be shipping them out right away when they're done.

Yes these will work with the 2020's.

If you happen to have the grille without the grille surrounding trim piece you can just purchase it separately either used or new and it will work just fine.

 

Get Ready for Preorders!

Okay guys, I'm going to start doing preorders today or tomorrow.

I don't have the pricing quiet figured out yet for the new 2018-2020 model but I'm fairly confident I can get a pretty good idea of what the pricing will be. With that being the case I'm going to be honoring the people who preorder at this price on the 2018-2020 grilles. After the preorder there's a chance the pricing could go up on the 2018-2020 model grilles once the preorder ends. So if you want to ensure you get the best price on a grille, I'd suggest to the preorder the grille rather than wait until later. There's also a chance they could sell out.

The pricing for the preorders will be as follows:
1. Grilles for the 2016-2017 will still be at the same price at $220 shipped to mainland United States.
2. Grilles for the 2018-2020 will be priced at $240 shipped to mainland United States.
3. The mesh option for both the 2016-2017 and 2018-2020 grilles will be $75.

Going forward the 2018's grilles will not need the mesh in order to work on the 2018-2020's.

Before you place an order please keep this in mind:
- The grilles orders for the 2016-2017 with no mesh option will be the first to ship out. These could go out as early as next week. If your order includes the mesh option it could ship out a few weeks later.
- The grilles orders for the 2018-2020 with or without mesh will be the last to ship out and could take another two weeks or so to ship out.

New Vinyl Logos
Below are some pics of the first draft for the new vinyl logo. Logo will also include the letters to spell out "TACOMA" as well.

Let me know if you have any thoughts to make the vinyl logo better.

The pricing on the vinyl is TBD.

Also, do you have a picture or two depicting the difference between mesh and not mesh version specifically? Excuse my ignorance for not already knowing

EDIT: It had been a while since I looked at the initial post but images 1 and 4 show a good difference between the two.

Also I will have a pic of the final prototype for the 2018-2020 grille models on Monday.

 

Do you have any preliminary photos of the 2018-2020 versions? I want to put a deposit down but I would like to see first If possible. Also are you willing to issue refunds if your grille delivery date goes beyond “a few weeks”? Let’s say maybe 45-60 days?

 

A few pages back you can see the one I cutout by hand, looks very bad but will give you an idea of how it will look. The final version will be much cleaner.

I'd be willing to give refunds if for some reason they took that long but I'd maybe have to charge a small processing fee or something if my website doesn't let me refund their processing fee.

I don't think they will take near that long though, looking like it will be around 2 weeks +/- for the 2018-2020's.

 

Thanks for the quick response! I just looked at the photos and I prefer this over the TRD pro grille with the shiny box up front for the TSS, at least this is tucked away. Have you had someone test it with the mesh? Did any TSS codes come up?

Also cool with the refund option, I understand. I know custom can take awhile, I just don’t want to be Locked in if this goes longer than expected
