I know how you feel. I've got lots of practice with my wife as well. Sometimes I don't fair very well though...lol. I had a white truck years ago and loved it so I decided to go that direction again. Very happy I did.

Got dirty, and then washed using an undercarriage sprayer, foam cannon, clay bar, fallout/iron remover, paint correction/scratch-x, hybrid ceramic spray.

    Wait for it..

It's the dreaded leak... you know the one that shows up once the warranty expires.

I've had the truck for 2 years without a leak so I was afraid to touch it. Yesterday we had a heavy thunderstorm and I got a bunch of water soaking the headliner behind the light. Guess I should have made a pre-emptive strike based on the TSBs and TW reports like I did for the battery, but I don't think I got enough water to do any damage. Good think I have the black headliner.

At least now I have an excuse to sound dampen the roof. Wife is already shaking her head

The link in my last post is a good resource for the TSBs. As far as the battery, some folks mentioned the stock weren't holding up great and mine was the original with a 2015 build date. All in all; not too bad a run - just didn't want to get stuck somewhere and since I got the vF-Tuner, I had an excuse to get an AGM battery.

    I sure did refuel on in-n-out! :D

Fallout/iron remover will soak into the clear coat and pull out contaminates (ferrous metals). The good stuff turns purple when it finds contaminates. I used Adam's iron remover, but wasn't that impressed. The Wowo's stuff works great, but it's currently not available. :notsure: I may try iron-x next time...

you're right. Funny thing is I still see them posted for sale on OfferUp and Craigslist all the time. I saw one on there for $175 dollars the other day. I was thinking they’re out of their damn mind.
