Given how old your truck is you may have an oil leak on the Spark plug well. Pull out #6 and see if it’s oil fouled. If so, replace valve cover gaskets. If not, swap coils. New one could be bad still and see if code follows. If that’s not it, swap injectors to see if code follows.

I live and work in kent... but hardly drive my truck anymore unless we are heading out to camp. Wife wants me to drive the car since it gets 5x the gas mileage, lol.

Why? Just cuz it’s an 05? Are you loosing coolant and not seeing an obvious leak elsewhere? Checked your oil for coffee color? You could do a compression check, it’s relatively easy but all spark plugs need to come out for that.
But start with step #1 from my prior post

Gotcha, I'm up off lake wilderness highlands/estates area. Yeah I'm pretty sure I've seen your white pro around.

Same, just can't bring myself to drive a car...Rather drive a slow, inefficient truck everyday and just pay the difference! =)

Your inferno is nice! Not sure what my plans are for mine yet except just enjoy it and stay out of the 3rd Gen discussion forums...Starting to think Chevy/Ford are funding anti-toyota trolls

Edit: If I hated a vehicle, last thing I'll be doing is hanging in forums trashing it

I guess it saves the wear and tear on the truck... my 10 minute commute can't be good for it. But hey, i'll be putting 380 miles on tomorrow morning!

I have to drive my wife's car every once in a while just to make sure everything stays lubed and the battery doesn't die (it's on a battery tender too). But with both of us at home, both cars really don't get driven unless i'm doing a grocery run or we're going out to a state park or what not.

Thanks! Aside from the tire and suspension upgrade, my favorite mod is my soft topper. Keeps things dry in the rain, folds down in less than a minute to transport large objects and when you roll up the sides, it provides shade when you're chilling in the bed. Oh, HIDS too, to get rid of those crappy halogens.

I hadn't given a soft top much thought, but yours looks nice and I like the idea of that! Taking the Tacoma through hills in Chelan in a few weeks with my daughters and that would work perfectly to get away from the sun

Here’s my spark plug. Gapped correctly. Just noticed my coolant overflow is empty. C483042A-716A-4985-9EEC-D07803E30794.jpg
