K well I've been playing some FPS's on my laptop, and my mouse works fine, it's just not the best for fine tuning type stuff.. You know what I mean if you ever try to pick someone off quickly, at an extreme distance, through the crosshairs of a high powered rifle. Anyway, I have a Microsoft 1383 wireless, and I just thought of it... maybe the reason it's difficult to fine tune left-right is because the laser isn't in the mid-line of the mouse but instead more to the right side?

I was thinking that when you're gaming, you're not so much moving the mouse left to right, but kind of twisting it for left-right movement, which would make this mouse go right-down, and left-up instead of left and right.

    ANYWAY!

Anyone know of a good wireless mouse for gaming?

I tend to stay away from wireless mice. Especially for fast-paced FPS gaming. Every wireless mouse I've tried had a slight lag. Not much of one but enough to be a pain in the ass.
I use my trusty old Logitech G5 for my newb pwning purposes.

Basically true. The wireless/bluetooth/whatever no-cord usage connection is subject to interference or delay, also possible that they experience lower sampling rates.

I haven't played in a long time but the old white Intellimouse is still in a drawer and there's no real need to replace it. I suppose my choice of replacement would be a Logitech G500, I haven't liked the feel of the Microsoft mice lately. Can't stand the feel of the Razers I've touched.
