If my truck sucks, then so does my friend's colorado. But mine will still suck in 15 years, at least he can count on his truck giving out on him! We're all trapped and all we can do is complain on the interwebs...

Granted I only have 25,000 miles on it but I've had not a single problem and I've really enjoyed my truck. I do think the paint is a little weak and if I could go back I would have ceramic coated it right off the bat and probably put a bit more xpel around. Some trucks definitely have had issues but I think the vast majority have been good and you probably just don't hear much from those people. I think a lot of new buyers of these trucks aren't really truck or Toyota people, they seem more like BMW or Audi guys who bought a Toyota trying to be cool and rugged and think it should drive like a Bimmer. Mostly its a bunch of whiny bitches on here that look for stuff to complain and argue about. Or people who hop on here shout at the top of their lungs how this truck sucks so bad and then are never heard from again.

you’ve put the 3% of Tacoma owners who are “enthusiasts” in a room and told them to talk about the truck they just spent $40k on.

People are bound to bitch, because that’s what people do. Even if Toyota made a mid size truck with the interior space of a full size, zero actual mechanical failures, stainless steel frames, a flawless 10 speed transmission, 10K towing capacity, Kings suspension, an 8ft bed that can shrink to 5ft for trail use, and it came on Cooper STT Pro’s...

Someone would still find 10,000 things to complain about

You guys bought one? I just take pictures next to one occasionally and steal them from the internet. Who in their right mind would buy a tacoma?

I have to drive my 17 Tacoma another 150000 miles and 10 more years to see if it was as good as my 87 Mazda B2200 that I drove for 13 years. That little truck was phenomenal.
That's the plan here. Maybe it will, maybe it wont but I doubt Id be happier driving something else. I like my truck.
