I got my first prototype rack back from powder coating today. Happy with the results, but there are some small improvements to be made to the next one. These are mainly with clearance issues on the side racks.

The design features removable side rails with each of the 4 segments designed to hold 100 lbs of gear. A longitudinal upper central member for my cot tent (much cheaper and lighter than a dedicated roof top tent). High strength steel tubing that can take high loads with minimal deflection (hang whatever your want). A design that allows fork mounted bike carry inside the rack. A modular design that allows multiple color combinations if desired. And it’s easily installed and removed by one person. In addition, the longitudinal member and rear upper cross member can be unbolted and removed for hauling tall loads.

Let me know your thoughts and what you would like to see on a rack like this.

That’s pretty good. Would you be able to generate one that goes above the cab height to be able to mount the longer wedge RTT’s? Looking for options to be able be as light as possible because I already have a high clearance rear and that ain’t light...
