My hips suck but I’ve narrowed it down and it’s more so my IT band but on the higher side, like the Fascia. After my surgery when I was doing PT they would spend a chunk of time doing a “fascia release” and damn if I don’t miss that feeling. I spend time just lying on a DB edge to release it myself but it’s not the same. I can tell a huge difference on days I do it before a workout vs. days I don’t though

 

So I take back part of what I said about my back. I’m still having pain in the upper part, which is new for me. I almost never had upper back pain. Not sure what’s going on with it but it’s not pleasant. Having the girl deep tissue massage it tonight to hopefully release some knots

 

For all of you with backs that suck, try memory foam contoured pillows and maybe the mattress. Some of you might remember reading before, my wife's back is rubbish and I see how it messes with her when it really acts up. Degenerative disc disease is a bitch
