These will probably be the only ones taken until it's completely painted.

Looking good! I'm sure you're itching to get that final piece of the puzzle, the axle and slap everything together!

I got a bit of a break when the Moab trip got pushed back to Feb/Mar(actually gonna do some mountain camping in Colorado instead). I should definitely have it road worthy by then :D
    Thanks Maner

That's the axle? For some reason I had been thinking you got a super beef one. Mark where you want them and I can just bring it to the shop and weld them on, still will probably take a few weeks, but if I have some time it'll be a perfect demonstration.

Nah. I just bought a 3500lb axle trailer. I figured it'll be more than I need. I'm in no rush. I've got to go help my family clear out my grandmother's house this set of off days. They have decided to sell her house/land.

Ok. You have any weekends off beginning of September? It shouldn't take us long and I should have some time free.

@gixxerphil just stumbled across your build. Love it! I've thought about doing something similar but likely will go another route in the future when I decide I'm ready for a trailer.(AKA have money and room to store it)

    I appreciate it
I've found deals as much as I could. I'm probably a little over 1K right now. I really haven't kept a good tally b/c I built this for me :D I know I'm in it less than an off-road camper or even a popup. I just buy when I can
    $200 bed
    $120 camper shell
$500 frame($50frame/$450 to have the front section built)
    $200 axle
    $125 T4R wheels
Free rear bumper and stock suspension thanks to buddies @cubie and @baldridge

Building the way you are the cost seems a lot more affordable, i think. I havent looked into anything seriously but figured if I built one I would likely end up at $3-4k and a lot of hours put in by me by the time I was done. The storage thing is the real issue for me. I need a house with some space.
