Fs: Entire tsb suspension system with bilstein trd shocks and struts

OK...TO EXPLAIN THE STORY BRIEFLY........i HAVE A 2008 TACOMA REG CAB 4X4. BACK IN APRIL I WENT IN FOR THE TSB AND THEY WOULDN'T DO IT BECAUSE THE TSB DID NOT LIST 2008.

SO IN JUNE I ORDERED A FULL 3" SUSPENSION LIFT (NEW COIL-OVERS FULL LEAFS EVERYTHING)

WHEN TOYOTA RELEASED THE 2008 TSB, I WENT INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND TOLD THEM THAT I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN IT BACK IN APRIL BECAUSE THEY CLEARLY NEW THE SUSPENSION WAS THE SAME.

SO WHAT THEY DID WAS ORDER ME THE PARTS...AND SINCE I HAD ALL THE ORIGINAL PARTS, THEY JUST SWAPPED WITH ME.

AND TO TOP IT OFF...THEY GAVE ME THE BILSTEN SHOCKS AND STRUTS INSTEAD OF THE NON-TRD


SO I HAVE NO PICS NOT BUT I WILL TONIGHT.....THESE HAVE 0 MILES ON THEM....NEVER INSTALLED IN ANY TRUCK.


FOR THOSE WHO MISSED OUT ON THE TSB BECAUSE U WENT OVER YOUR 3 YEAR 36,000 MILES.....I HAVE ALL THE PARTS FOR YOU TO DO IT


2 FULL LEAF PACKS (4 LEAFS IN EACH PACK) PLUS EXTENDED U-BOLTS.
2 REAR TRD BILSTEIN SHOCKS
2 FRONT COIL-OVER TRD STRUTS FULLY ASSEMBLED...JUST BOLT IN.



I AM LOOKING FOR BEST OFFER. PLEASE CONSIDER THE LEAFS ARE HEAVY AND SHIPPING CAN BE PRICEY.......BUT PICKUP IS AVAILABLE AS WELL

Looking to get $700/b/o plus the shipping for the springs

Again these have 0 miles and what and way cheaper than the trd upgrade for your truck

I am willing to sell these items seperatly if i havre interest for all the items...otherwise i want to sell them as a kit

 

dont know what your price will be.......but it sounds like a good deal for someone!! there a quite a few people who have been turned down for the tsb work.....bet they'd like this setup here!! good luck man!

no,im pretty sure they are a different suspension setup altogether.

 

It is. 5 lugs are spring under axle, unlike 4x4s and Prerunners.

That's what I thought too. 5 luggers have spring under axle on the rear, not sure if the front is different....but the rear definately is.

The TSB doesn't seem to differentiate between the 5 lugger from the other packages. I called the local dealer and toyota directly and both said the TSB applies to the 5 lugger in addition to the other models. When reading the TSB, the only difference I see is between the TRD and non-TRD trucks. So I'm left pretty confused about the whole thing.

yea i really hate getting rid of these....but money is tight with the new house and the less stuff i have hanging around the better.

plus now that i have a 3" lift with 33's i feel as if i will never go back to stock.

Sorry to get off topic here, but the TSB includes front springs?

 

No they use the factory front coils and replaced the struts
