theres some good dispersed camping near the airfield campground. Just find your way further into the woods and every now and then there are sites.

I wheeled rausch last Friday with my brother in law and father in law.

We ran topless for tatas and krawlin for cops. Both good blues.

BIL had a wheel cylinder in his driver side rear brake drum crap out so we had to pinch off the line and refill the master cylinder.
I had a valve stem rip and thankfully I had the perfect way to fix it. I ordered some “Colby valves” off Amazon last week. It’s a replacement valve stem that installs from the outside of the wheel in less than a minute. Cut off the rest of the old valve stem, push it through the wheel, the pop in the Colby valve and tighten it down and air it back up.

How do you figure? The portable unit will cool it. It costs $500. What's the problem?

    haha nice. They’re awesome.
I’ve been good. The day after rausch we took the quads and bikes to lost trails and I unfortunately ate shit late in the day. There was a log in the trail and I came around a turn in 3rd gear and the front tire got along side the log but my momentum carried me over the log and just right down on my left side. Thought I broke a rib or 2. Got x rayed yesterday and all good thankfully.
Oh yea and last night daisy got sprayed by a skunk.. so that’s fun..

    how are you doin?

Oof. Glad you are okay man. I heard lost trails is a good time, @Wheelspinner was just there the other day too.

And not bad, baby is due in a week and a half or so, hoping it comes early so I can break in my sick new balances and khaki shorts. Sold the R6, got dough finally to get the dual sport I have been talking about getting for 4 years or so, just need to wait a while after the baby is born. Just low on the list for now.

That sucks about Daisy, have you been doing the tomato soup thing and is it working? Always something I worry about when letting Mac out or taking her camping. Hopefully this winter we can retry the VT trip with you, Chux and Pat and that awesome wax job wont go to waste lol.

    *edit* Steve beat me.:p

nice! I was wondering if I’d see you there

We used hydrogen peroxide mixed with dish detergent and baking powder. Then the next day picked up a bottle of skunk spray shampoo. She still stinks lol.

but I’m going to start packing a small bottle of the shampoo on camping trips just in case.

It’s an 02 Wr426. I also have a supermoto setup for it. I bought it of a guy in Ny. My brother also has a Yz426 with plates but he’s going to be selling to one of his buddies since he can’t start it anymore due to the accident he was in last year. But he’s looking to pick up a WR250R so he can have electric start.

Electric start is a god send. Especially if you do hard enduro and you stall out halfway up a steep rocky climb that is tough to walk up let along kick start a bike lol

for a few good years katooms had electric and kick, they are now fully electric. I would want a kickstarter as a backup if the battery got low. Had to push mine up a hill once to pop start in sugar sand, not fun. I’m hoping to get a beta next year. Was going to pick one up this year but covid put the squash on any new imported shit. My green poop shooter got a new battery this season, waiting in the garage for some slightly cooler weather to go riding, seems like it’s either hot as hell or raining around here the last few weeks.

Yea that’s the only think I don’t like about mine is they got rid of the kicker. Older ones you had the option to add one but mine the case doesn’t have the spot anymore.

That’s something I wish my bike and quads had.. a back up besides the electric start. Kick start on bikes and pull start on quads should be standard.

I know @V5ioV added a kick start to his drz400sm which I’d never heard of anyone doing. That was pretty sweet.

    Yep.
Yep. Been searching here and there for a kick kit to put on the wr250r, nobody makes one. Might have to get creative, or start carrying a small jump pack.

This heat needs to die, then we all need to hit some trails this fall.
