Todays project was to trim my bumper wings back 1" because at full stuff the tire was kissing them.

Thanks, that was the goal. I took my time and got my metal finishing down and it's pretty seamless. 35" tires.

Wasn't sure you moved to 37s or not. Any plans for that? I saw it done somewhere on here or youtube... can't remember off hand.

Ok I'm confused now. Why would you slice nd spice instead of just trimming am inch off the end and recapping it?

This way I didn’t have to create a new end cap. This was actually pretty damn easy. Plus it helped me practice my metal finishing to make it seamless.

    Yes it is.
I was searching for a cheaper way to buy connectors and found the site.
The price of the connectors from Toyota aren't too bad but once you need a terminal (repair wire) and you need 5 of them, it gets really expensive.
Just takes some research to find the correct one but it's way cheaper. I got the faster shipping on the last order so I'm going to see how long it takes.
The first order took forever to get here.

I’ve decided if/when I do go 37s, I need some proper beadlocks too. So $2,500 in wheels and another $1,500 in tires :bananadead: And I’ll want steering reinforcement, +2 LT to help them clear and more articulation, and to lock my front diff. It’s going to spiral.

Got some switches for my new switch panel - now I just need my bumpers so I can wire up my lights and winch. Rock lights are on the way.

    20200722_120858.jpg

Finished my OBA install with a 2.5gal Viair tank under the bed with my quick connect running into the big cubby.

    20200723_175702.jpg
    20200723_180251.jpg

And got a clean little compressor switch for the only free spot in the dash.

    20200722_120835.jpg

    The journey continues.

Where did you hide the other part of the viair setup? Aka the little compressor (I think thats what it is).
