I bought the normal unleaded fuel, which I believe is E88/89. But I will drive to the gas station to confirm what it is. Thanks for mentioning that.

There are two different regular ones. The regular 87 (E10) and regular 88 (E15).

I get gas from Wawa all the time in Frederick. Never had any issues. Why no Wawa?

Don’t you like to pump gas and eat from the same place? I sure do!

My neighbor with a sequoia gets 15-16 mpg with wawa gas and 19-21 mpg with shell. If I didn't see it myself I wouldn't have believed it.

i'm pretty anal about what fuel I use in my tacoma/motorcyles/mowers/powerequipment. Usually only ever Sunoco or BP. Everything else around here sucks.

Sheetz gas is horrible at times.

HOWEVER, it is nice having a 3.4 3rd gen because it will literally run on whatever. I bet if you peed in the gas tank, it wouldnt care.

I'm pretty anal about the gas in my boat (the most particular)/atv/chainsaw/mower (the least particular) but my Tundra has a bunch of fancy computers that should be able to figure out what to do if some suspect fuel enters the tank. That's why I was curious about the ethanol content in @B22A truck. The fancy beep boop computer probably notices.

That's possible? Dang apparently i need to do some research, i thought all major sellers of gas had approximately the same quality for their regular gas

I only run can gas/oil premixed in my stihl tools. They can sit for a year and they fire up everytime.

I've seen it too. Only Shell, Exxon or Marathon for me. I stay far away from RF, Wawa and little no name mom & pop gas stations.

It's pretty cheap insurance to run that ethanol free pre mix. I've been using it lately in my stihl equipment, but I didn't used to. I used to mix my own gas with Yamalube because I always had a huge supply on hand for my last outboard (Yamaha 130 hp 2 stroke)

According to the dealership they think it was E85 that was in the tank. There was an excessive amount of alcohol found in the mixture and they think that was what fouled it up. I went to Royal Farm and got a duplicate receipt from them and sure-as-shit it was E87 unleaded fuel. So I think I'll be filing a complaint with RF for the cost of repair. The dealership is not assuming responsibility and will not cover the repairs under the warranty, nor will USAA since it was not a mechanical failure due to the vehicle. FML, right?! It's gonna run about 2,000 to have it repaired, fortunately they offer a 10% military discount.

    Sorry for venting folks...

as long as you have the receipt getting RF to pay for the repair shouldn't be too hateful, that little piece of paper makes all the difference.

I'm not a Costco member. I've never used their gas. I am a BJ's member but I never used their gas.
