    Hey fellas. Long time without an update from me, been busy around here. Thought I’d let y’all in on the shop progress. Found a contractor that would take my project of building a 30x30x12 shop in the middle of town despite all the restrictions. He managed to get it all approved with the permitting office and got started building 2 weeks later. Scheduled to be done in about 4-5 weeks from now. Plan on doing quite a lot in this shop once it’s done, just happy I’m getting some real space to myself where I can have all the fun I want and not stink up the house with welding fumes.

    So far, the footers and block have been laid, gravel has been spread, and the framing for the walls has been done. Tomorrow or Monday the trusses go in, then the slab gets poured. I’m going to have it all bricked to match the house and get the least electrical work I can get done just so I pass inspection. After that, I’ll finish all the wiring, insulation and walls myself.
