Yup, that’s dope. I love my A2. Maybe I’ll have to add another to the rotation. My backup A1 has @honda50r stank stuck to it.

For those of you who are shopping for a new or slightly used bike, have you tried: https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/us/en/mountain-bikes?f=2632 or the: https://www.theproscloset.com/collections/mountain-bikes We bought from both sites with excellent results. Each time saved tons of cash. Bought my oldest son's Vitus Dominer from Chain Reaction Cycles for half the price of what it would cost to build the same bike from the frame up, with no tax and free shipping (shipped from Britain)! Bought my other son's Scott Voltage FR 720 (supposedly used) from Pros Closet for a less than half the price of a new one. Surprisingly bike showed up brand spankin' new, zero miles, with one tiny scratch on the frame! Highly recommend both sites.

Thanks for the input, guys, appreciate it! I'm still working on a deal for the bike I really want, so not quite sure how/when/where my Ibis will be ready for resale this summer. Hopefully I can work some magic with the supply issues and time everything perfectly to swap bikes before/during my return trip across the country at the end of August. Right now, though, that's not looking very good, as the bike I want is apparently sold out everywhere. :frusty:

@honda50r - I hear you loud and clear. If I can find the new bike I want in stock somewhere between now and my trip home, I'll hit you up with a text about that cash deal. Sound good?

Is anyone here familiar with the riding areas in Maple Valley, WA...Henry's, BDOS, Summit & Lake Sawyer? Any trail or route recommendations? I like to ride a little bit of everything, leaning towards flowy, bermy and jumping, but I won't turn down a solid XC ride, either.

Looking for the height measurements with a canopy on. The door opening and then the inside. I ride an XL 29er trail bike and want to make sure it will fit with the front tire off standing up. Pictures with bikes in would be awesome.

Do you have a short bed or long bed? I’ve got a trek stache in 19.5 and it fits in the bed fine. It’s probably a good bit shorter than most trail bikes though, wheelbase wise, idk how it compares overall since it’s got big tires

In the market for a long. Numbers wise it should fit, but wanted to get real world confirmation from people who have shells and bigger bikes.

I have a short bed so I think you’ll be fine length wise. Height wise my mountain bike has plenty of room but I have a dropper post. For my gravel bike I have to drop the seat, put it in at an angle then stand it up.

I’ll try to remember to take pics in a little haha

It will fit, as along as you understand you'll have to place the fork mount near/on the bed and not on the rails. There are photos of people doing such within this thread if you search around some. I can get some measurements for you later, but those numbers will be unique to my truck and topper and may not be exactly what you need.

Edit: Like @113tac just said, dropping your seatpost down is pretty much mandatory too.

I run a dropper so that’s not a problem. I planned to use a Rockymounts fork mount on a board I’ll secured by the tailgate. Just hoping the height is there.

I’ve got just under 33” of clearance with my standard height topper. Excuse the rusty ass tape measure. That’s just what happens to them when you you leave them in the bed storage cubby’s in the southeast.

Better system to integrate into the stem/steerer tube, but in my experience the Bontrager tools are nowhere near as precise and well made as the Oneup. I don't like the steerer idea anyway, so I'm using the pump/tool system from Oneup. I don't mind the extra weight of the pump, and I've found it super useful (the Oneup pumps are the best on the market anyway). If I (or a riding buddy) burp a tire, forget to top off before heading out, or get a small puncture, and the sealant does its job, I still need to add a little air. CO2 is no-bueno for adding a little air in those situations.

Very helpful! What about from the bed to the inside (middle) of the shell?

Who uses garmin? This is pretty wild

Good point, I’ve never used bontrager tools. I like how this doesn’t require threading the steerer. I’d probably never go this route though, unless I got a new fork

OneUp updated their EDC headset tool dealio to no longer require threading your headtube?

Crazy about the Garmin thing. Been wanting to get a new watch, guess I’m glad I hesitated. Still rocking my circa-old Garmin don’t know the model just tells time and tracks distance not smart watch that just won’t die.
