I've got an ARB twin mounted under the hood on the left side.

I just ran a hose to the tank and a hose to the quick connect from the tank.

Installed some squadron flush mounts, Cali raised dual led bar and Hooke road roof rack.

Finishing up my new relay/fusebox to power it all.

Absolutely insane how many rtt companies exist. Hopefully all this competition can lower the prices slightly...
    What brand is this one?

Branding logo on the tent looks to be Roofnest. Check out the new GFC camper, it’s a hardshell for $1200

This is a Roofnest Condor. In the past year I’ve noticed a lot that are this style popping up.

The issue for me with all the normal hardshells is they have to overhang the cab which I can’t since I have a box and solar setup up there. I’d have to switch to smaller ones and rearrange everything.

From the pictures I have seen, it looks like you can hang the tent off the back a little and with the rail system you could put the solar panel on top of the tent. :boink: If you're considering getting Roof tent, I would reach out to the manufacture and talk about what you are trying to do before you sell yourself "short."

Put a hole in my gas tank taking a stupid line on tin cup pass two weekends ago. Was able to patch it but didn't have a lot of faith in my patch so I found an ebay secondhand tank for $230. Changed out my fuel tank last night - so glad to have awesome neighbors to lend a hand. That is not a one person job!

Saved about $800 vs going to the dealer so pretty happy about that. Does that mean I have $800 in mods?

That's impressive because it's pretty hard to hit the tanks on these trucks. How did you patch it?

I let the tank drain so the hole stopped weeping gas then welded plastic from an oil bottle over the hole. Covered with quiksteel epoxy. First picture is inside the tank, second is outside tank after my shitty weld pre epoxy.20200724_073919.jpg

Also don't worry - I put a nice dent in the exhaust pipe that hangs around the transfer case

I have this as my fuel tank skid and it's been awesome. It's slick so when I do catch it on anything, it just slides right off. Definitely recommend.

Thanks for the recommendation - definitely on the list! If I had an inch more ground clearance I think I would have cleared the rocks. Thinking a small lift and 32's as well.

I’d still have to get a new rack to mount a tent that high. I like my low bed bars so I can keep the tent weight down low.
