Yukon 4.88 gears

Selling a brand new in box set of Yukon 4.88 gears. These are for the 8 inch clamshell front and 8.75 inch rear axle with locker for your Tacoma. This is a front and rear gear set (ring and pinion only), no master kit included.

Can you provide specs on box size and weight? Trying to see what it would take to ship to Texas

 

They weigh about 32 lbs. the boxes measure 11” tall, 11 1/4” wide and 16” long that’s both boxes stacked.

Curious, why you selling?

 

There gears were suppose to come already cryo and rem polished which they didn’t.
So if they sell it will actually be way cheaper and faster to buy gears which I did and will get delivered tomorrow and installed next week vs sending these to Cryo heat $400 to get them done and wait 2 weeks which also pushes my install date to the beginning of September instead of next week. I’m also avoiding returning them because of the restock fee which I don’t want to pay but will if they don’t sell in the next week. I’ll sell them for what I have into them at this point.

 

I was wondering but not positive, would need to do the same. At some point I want to do this.

 

I got the same ratio 4.88 so it’s not because I don’t want this ratio. I just got a better deal from Revolution vs more expensive Yukon. I’m waiting to see if Revolution is actually re boxing Yukon gears or re boxing nitro gears or where they actually come from so I can update the 4.88 mega thread.

 

I have scanned through that thread a few times, but just enough to get the basics.

 

Can this be used on a Sport Tacoma model? Asking for a friend.

 

Pretty sure sport has the smaller rear unless it's a manual

Does anyone know if this fits a 4th gen 4runner v8 and how much masterkit approximately cost?

 

I’m not sure if the gears are the same, I think the master kit is like $300 range. But you might not need it. If the bearings are still good all you need is a mini kit which is pretty cheap.
