    Hey guys

There are too many options and I'd like to buy a holder for my tacoma per the recommendation of you guys who have the phone.

I currently have the bodyglove droid x case and it's a bit thick. I'm tired of placing my phone in my car without it being secured via a holder of some sort.

any recommendations you guys may have?

I got my droid 2 mounted on a generic phone dock that I screwed down to cup that fits snug in my cup holder. Cost me all of $5.

wow.. motorola sells a mount. Use that. Its good. It mounts where you can use the GPS and talk via speaker phone. If you route the wires behind the stereo you can just use the standard plugs and they are nicely secured. Get the speaker phone over stereo speakers and pandora radio. Really, there's nothing else worth using.

I have the droid x and i bought the car dock. very mcuh worth the money. suction is very powerful, and the droid x has a special dock mode that makes it very useful- check it out! though you will find that no matter where you go, the OEM dock is the same price everywhere

i use the car dock.... here is a cool thing to do if you have the car dock: you can use the video camera on it to film as you drive. like a dash cam. pretty cool for offroading. i use mine mainly in the winter when the roads are realy bad. you would be surprised what you can capture

I guess it's me ... most of y'all like that mount for the Droid. I got one and drove 3 miles. I playaed with it, adjusted it, tightened it ... just wasn't happy with the "shake".

I am too anal .... went out and bought a Garmin instead of using the Droid.

The holder is for sale .....

Droid Charge in Verizon universal mount.
Easy access and viewing angle, very little shake, verticle or horizontal.

I've been thinking of using that exact piece for mounting my phone. Mine pops off easily, so how did you keep yours from pulling off? Was thinking maybe adding some epoxy to the tab inserts to thicken them up so they'd stay in easier???
