Hi so i have another question about spacers for anyone who might have them on a 2nd gen. the ones I am looking at are supreme suspensions 4 pc hub centric wheel spacers, 2”. it says in the title specifically 4wd but my tacoma is a 2wd. does this actually make a difference or will they fit? included is a screenshot from the Amazon page. thank you for your help.

I don’t do wheel spacers, but everything is the same except for the middle of the front hubs where the CV stub goes through on the 4WD, so they have to work on a prerunner. Obviously they won’t work on a 5 lug 2WD.

    Thanks man.
    I don’t do spacer either.
But if I HAD to, I hear spidertrax is the way to go?

I’m all stock, I spent lots of money modding my 1st gen.
Sold it, and lost lots of money. I told myself, I am not doing that again.

I would just do a quick Google search for some light reading on the subject lol. It's quite the topic. I'm going to have to second all the above comments of just say no.

The issue with spacers is that users do not verify torque after putting some miles on, also in most cases there is not enough thread projection for the spacer nuts to be properly installed.

That being said I put on some 1.25" spacers a few months ago and haven't had any issues. Anti seize on spacer face towards hub and rechecking torque religiously will mitigate any issues you may experience in the future.

that makes sense. i mean i read the advice on how to care for them and check them after so many miles or so and planned to do them right

Just ensure the spacer has the proper center bore diameter of 106.1mm and you won't have any issues. Torque as per fsm spec of 83 ft/lbs. Proceed to sit back and enjoy your new stance. :D

As @TnShooter stated in his earlier post, the spacers will work for either 4wd or 2wd. You're GTG sir
