Just because you live in the wilderness all year around (Steamboat ) and have to cut firewood doesn’t mean us city folks like to do it...lol

 

It was more of a joke about all the dead trees in the picture. @turbodb will get it.


I avoid buying firewood at all costs, and cutting down trees is fun.

Really? I consider buying wood to be tandemount to lighting my money on fire. Much prefer to cut a dead standing tree and chop it up. Fun too!

 

Love this. Did something similar myself but yours is much cleaner. Do you have a write-up or details on this? In the location you have your lights, my cluster cover does not have that long rectangular cutout in the center and the "cells" with wedge cutouts underneath for lights are empty. Does your cluster have lights in those positions already or did you add them?

 

Are your cup holder right in front of the climate controls like the 2nd gen 4Runners? Didn't know some Tacoma's did that too

 

Yup, the early first gen years had the cup holders there

 

The following things were done on the truck last night after work.

Washed
Polished with scratch doctor
Waxed
Black trim cleaned
Bumper reinstalled
Swing out and spare reinstalled
Transmission cooler remounted
Tail Lights reinstalled

Was able to drive it to work for the first time in a week.

 

How’s it ride with the new relocation?

 

Anyone ever done the energy suspension body mount bushings right?

Did you have any issues? My rear mounts are almost 3/8" shorter than the stock ones.






So I said fuck it and put the rear stock ones back in. Body was resting on the sliders otherwise and not the mount. The front one and middle one are fine.

I double check the kit I bought and it checks out as fitting..and I didn't mix up the bushings either.

 

I remember reading about @Kristi with a K having a hell of a time!

 

Can't really tell yet. There's no weight in the back and I'm running All Pro Expo springs. Right now it rides kind of bucky.

Annnnd... It's kind of a sore subject. But one of the shocks is leaking at the resi. Sooo, now I get to drive a few hours today to get it looked at by an authorized Fox dealer.

I shoved my 5100s back on it till the Fox shocks are good to go.

 

Why I went with the 1" over. Gave everything a little extra space.
