What ditch light brackets did you use? And... no issues opening the hood either?

So I purchased it directly from Ubox on 7/9. It still hasn't shipped! Anyone have issues with shipping? I think it's a bit ridiculous to be waiting 11 days for them to ship. It is clearly shown as label only created and they tried giving me the run around when I contacted them.

Has anyone attempted to cut one of these to fit an access cab?

Received and mounted today with 43" cali raised light bar. Lots of trimming required, crap ton of wind noise at 40 mph, sounds like i have M/T tires mounted up. Looking to relocate the front fairing more forward and lower.

Initial impressions, construction was substantially sturdier than stock photos as shown on manufacturer website. Well worth it for the price.

Only gripe: The cheapest excuse of powder coating I have ever seen. Pretty obvious no prep work was done. I dont see it not lasting a few years but after trimming it and seeing how easily the powder coat flaked off was a clear indication of quality.

Very unjustified annoyance in regards to price point. I would be pissed to get a prinsu and experienced what I have finish wise with the Hooke Road.

I cant complain, $300 and some modifications will make it perfect.

I was gonna pass on this product but I found a good deal on ebay. Just installed it but now I'm a little confused. Both front and back are on the highest setting but for some reason the rear sits a lot higher than the front so its uneven. I've looked through this thread and notice some members pictures also has the back higher than the front. I've actually changed the back to the lower setting and so it's more leveled but still bothers me. Anyone with the same issue?

So, I went high setting in the back and low setting in the front. I did that because after reading every response on this thread a lot of people said to do it that way with the bulb seal for noise control. That being said, you’ll have noise no matter what so I’m thinking about going low rear and high front to make it more level.

I have mine set high front and low rear. It looks better imo. I still have a crapton of noise, probably due to the light bar.

Going to weld the weird opening slats in the front as well. Seems like it's contributing to the noise.

Does anyone have a good link for a wiring harness for the light pods that came with the rack? Anyone have suggestions for sealing the roof holes too?

Anyone looking to sell their roof rack? I'm evaluating the used market before buying new. Third gen, WA state. Let me know!

Has anyone cut the wind deflector to install a 43 in light bar? Or have you all bought another wind deflector that already has the cut out but also matches the bolt holes to mount to this one?

I haven’t heard of anyone cutting or buying another with a slot for a light bar but if you refer to pg 43 of this thread there is a guy who just removed the front deflector and added a light bar

Good afternoon. Just had a few questions about before installing this item. I know the silicone trick but what is the weather stripping tip or is it just cutting your weather strip to fit perfectly over the brackets?

I used a thread sealant and then just used the factory weather stripping and notched it out for the brackets. The other weather stripping you might thinking about would go on the front wind deflector of the rack to reduce wind noise.
