I took my mostly stock 15 4.0 4x4 dc SR. By the end of the day I really had a understanding of how limited my suspension was. I bottomed out quite a few times as oem struts were taking a beating. I have been looking at some quality parts to replace these. What is your take on 2.5in lift for a occasional weekend warrior. I was looking at the Fox coilover setup with adjustable dampening. I'm also looking at rear springs. Now I'm looking to add bumpers and sliders. But not a full overland setup, as its still my daily truck.

Cant go wrong with Fox, bilstein 6112's and 5160's, are a great bang for your buck also, if you can find them.3 leaf progressive add a leafs are also pretty good for rear lift as long as your stock springs are not flat, icon or headstrong.

My springs on the rear are nearly flat. That's why I'm thinking Bout replacing them. But some of these shocks I question because of breaking them at the stem bottom. But being I'm in California rust isn't much of any problem.

I like the Icon RXT leaf pack for it's ability to change or add leafs to get the ride height you want. or just hold onto the "extra" leaf and install it if they ever start to sag

If you're not planning to install the bumpers right away, OME 885 up front and 3 leaf progressive AAL at rear. If you think the rear leafs are shot, then go for the Dakar MD. If adding bumpers soon, OME 886.
