Yeah I heard 3rd gen guys have to trade in all their Meso’s Barbie Doll Ken’s Tacoma chrome delete dress-up kits for axle grease, 33s, and 5.88 gears minimum just to get admission to the 2nd gen forum.

It was either that or the pro grilles, and you can't show the chrome delete kits off as easily on the gram

When I get rid of my POS I’m torn between a ridgeline and a vintage El Camino, after all that was the original car truck with the same lines as the ridgeline.

What's the saying...go big or go home. He can be the one going big, and I'll be the one going home to watch it later on youtube

So many of the “issues” of the 3rd gen forum would be non existent if people just bought the vehicle that met their needs instead of the vehicle that alludes to their aspirations...lol

And if I had unlimited resources and a warehouse to contain it, a cherry 69 El Camino with a 454 would be nice though.

Well that’s exactly what I did, I have exactly what I needed and wanted. So far I like it better than any of the other four trucks I’ve owned.
Yeah well I want my 66 Chevelle or my 67 Mustang convertible back :D

I know I have my perfect 5-10 car garage. But ya gotta know what's smart and the Tacoma was the better buy when compared to the 71 challenger with the 440 six and 4 spd....plus more affordable

At the moment I have nothing to seriously complain about. I have nitpicks sure but compared to my last vehicle, fuck me.

Lets go down the list shall we?

2007 Nissan Pathfinder journey of horse shit:

    Annoying rattle under car
windows rolled down on their own (Went to Oregon for 4 days, came back to find 4" snow on my driver's side)
    cracked radiator at 70k miles
    Gas sensor went out
    Lock to back hatch broke
    Sway bar went out
rack pinion steering leaking and had to be replaced
    windshield wiper literally flew off
    key ignition quit working
    timing chain replaced
back cup holder broke off (How? I never used it)
    Heater quit heating
    Ignition coil misfire
Bad catalytic convertor due to misfire

Great truck. It isnt a fullsize, its not for towing massive loads have a diesel to do that. I see alot of mostly unwarranted bitching on this forum!

I think its because Toyota has sold a bunch of Tacoma's and people tend to only post went they have issues (because they want resolution or want to vent). So you see when 10 guys complain about this or that out of what 500,000 Tacoma's its really a small proportion.

Look around your workplace and you see people that complain all day long. Now give them a Tacoma and a forum...
