    Yeah, Lariat 502a and up.

The 502a was the only way to get the good stuff in this generation (LED headlights, etc.). Kind of made a base Lariat make no sense. Looks like more of that is available on an XLT for 2021, though. At that point a base Lariat might make sense for it to basically be a top XLT + Leather + 4 Auto + some nicer finish materials.

I'm a low level XLT sort of guy. All the features it does have, I'll actually use. There are options I wouldn't mind having but not enough to make we want to spend more to get them. As I've sort of proven over the last few years, I'd rather spend the money going a little overkill with the base truck (engine and tranny) rather than options.

Grilling a fairly fatty 1/2 yardbird tonight, so it's come in handy a couple of times.

    Happy belated @m603holden !

Kids were in daycare today, so the wife and I had some time to do nothing. I forget I burn rapidly outside, even on cloudy days in the shade. I figured I could sit on the beach under an umbrella and be okay with layering up with the SPF4000. Nope. Luckily i'ts only half of me, and even better around pretty much anyone I never take my shirt off. The beach was empty, so I felt emboldened.

Have I mentioned that, like Al Bundy, I hate the beach?

You should try SPF one million, I hear it helps on Judgment Day

I've been blistered a few times in my life. I won't stay outside in a "beach" situation more than 1-2 hours. My blue eyes and Irish skin just aren't up to the challenge.

I have a lot of Greek and never burn, but I still hate the beach. Not appealing whatsoever to sit on sand in front of salt water.

100% on that too. I don’t get it at all. Nice to look at but not spend a whole day doing it. And then you are sandy and sticky too.

I’m a fresh water guy if anything.

100% agree with that. I'm NOT a beach fan at all. If I do hang around a body of water, I'd much rather be on a lake than the ocean.

Agreed. I prefer the mountains if I am outside but if I am going to be around water give me a river or lake over an ocean any day.

Why the hate for bud? It’s my go to macro :D

I can do a destination beach vacation. My in-laws love Saint Martin and go at least once a year. I’ve gone a few times and to go, park my ass and grab some rum runners and do jack crap for a week. That’s nice. But after a week I’m done. Give me a mountain, mountain bike, hell I’ll go sky diving. My longest beaching was ten days on our honeymoon.

but hey I grew up at a beach town so it’s always had an appeal to me. Fresh water is cool too. Doesn’t feel as sticky and not as salty when you’re dried off.

not for a destination vacation I can do a day. Maybe two. Wife and I went to the beach yesterday for a few hours, could have done more but meh. Today I have zero beach drive. but it’s hot and humid as hell in July so great time to mow the lawn aye?!
