I recently installed the EAG Grill and to power the LEDs I searched for a circuit that would only have power with the ignition key in the "on" position. That circuit ended up being the EFI circuit. I used the Bussman Add-a-Circuit from AutoZone to jumper in an addition fuse and circuit. https://www.autozone.com/electrical...bussmann-atm-add-a-circuit-fuse-tap/32416_0_0 Last night with my wife took the pups out she notices the 3 grill LEDs are on. After getting the pups in she goes back out and the lights are off. When testing circuits before the install this circuit only had power with the key in the "on" position. The question is, is there something with the Tacoma that periodically activates the EFI system to keep fuel pressure up for better starting performance?

EVAP pressure test is done about 5 hours after shutdown. This powers up that circuit.

Thank you!! I can deal with that!

As a choice I don't think I would have picked the EFI Fuse to tap off of for a light.

Since the LED power draw is insignificant and is protected by a separate fuse I see no issue other than the lights illuminating for a short bit about 5 hours after the truck is turned off. It will keep people guessing for sure. Is there another reason I should be concerned?

I have the amber backlighting for my lightbar tapped into EFI as well. It was a fun surprise when I randomly saw them on for the first time. I wouldn't be concerned.

Not particularly. I just don't like adding loads to engine critical circuits...
