    @CrippledHo , "my body ached the whole next day", when you were young, and that's my concern, how labor intense is this process. It will most likely lay me up for a week, but I'm looking at a Maquiars clay bar kit with cleaning solution. I figure just once, I should treat it to a really good clean, clay, and polish.

    It's as difficult as you make it. It's labor intensive, but having my pops critiquing everything led to a lot of repetition. The claying is the most fatiguing, buffing is easy. Take your time and you'll be fine

    I clay barred my sisters car today. I would say it’s not back-friendly but if you have a roll around stool and take breaks, I think you could do it. Make sure to spray plenty of the solution. You will feel the difference immediately. Fold and knead the clay often.
    Edit- the roof could be difficult. Do you have sliders?
