    Nah. The UCA is really easy and doesn't require touching anything else. Remove/cut the upper bolt. Disconnect at knuckle and it's off. Yes an alignment will need to be done again.

    For a 100lb Low Pro bumper + winch, what notch would you guys set it on for about a 2" lift? Trying to avoid having to replace my UCA's til a later date.

    So I am loving the 6112/5160 combo. Man it was nice out on some rough forest roads when camping. Unfortunately I grenaded my knee somehow... woke up and it was all swollen. No idea why. So I'm home early. :annoyed:

    Has anyone tried to install the Bilstein 5165 with an eye to stud adapter on a 3rd gen? If it would work it would give the best of both worlds of the 5160 resi and the extended length of the 5125, and there seem to be a few different valving options in the 9.4" travel.

    5/8" Eye to stud adapter from Pro Comp adds 1.5" to the length. making them 15.9" compressed and 25.1" extended.

    The stock TRDOR Bilstein B6 4600 is 14.09" compressed and 22.9" extended, Am I correct in thinking that with a 2" lift and factory height bumps the 5165s with the adapter would not bottom out when compressed and give an extra 0.5" of droop over stock?

    Also maybe this is just too much hassle and the 5165s are really not much better than the 5125s

    I would try it at 4 first. Asuming you have the 600 lb springs. I started out at 3 but then put on the Stingray and Smittybilt winch. I then switched to 650 lb springs at the 4th notch.

    I think I got this wrong as the leaf pack with the add-a-leaf will not be 2" thicker than the factory leaf so the shock could bottom out.

    I loaded up about 500lbs worth the camping gear and headed up to Flagstaff to a great spot on a forest road today. I came here a few months ago with stock suspension and the difference is night and day with the 6112/5160 combo. The 5160s did really well today and I’ll probably be keeping them.     I believe the 5100's and 5160's are 170/60 valving. So in theory it should be a very similar valving but with longer stroke. I don't think anyone has ran them, but I could be wrong. I was thinking about the 5160 from a Jeep (pn 25-187632) but couldn't find the valving specs. The collapsed length is 15.91" and extended is 27.46" which is VERY close to the B110 specs. Since I was impatient I ended up going with the B110's and for my needs they are working great but when I'm ready for a change up I will look into the valving specs of the mentioned Jeep 5160's.

    Installed Bilstein 6112s (clips at 6/5), 5160, Wheelers AAL, JBA UCAs and 285/70r17s today! Super happy. Rubs just slightly in reverse on Cab Mount passenger side. Another alignment should fix no problem.

    Need recommendations. I’m about to install the 6112/5160 and was wondering what setting should I set it on if I want 2.5 - 3” lift. 4th or 5th setting? I have a 1.5 rear block in the rear and I have aftermarket UCA. What setting would be best for a 2nd gen 2015 Tacoma? Thanks everyone. New to the forum.

    Anyone here have a comparison between the 6112’s vs trd pro suspension?
    Both are around the same price but with the trd pro suspension usually already coming with 10-15k miles on them used.

    Would like to hear from people who have had experience with riding on both suspensions.
