Im running the same wheels and will be getting the same size if I replace my AT2s, what do you think of the look of the sidewalls?

The sidewalls actually look great in person. Plenty aggressive for my tastes. I’ll try to get some better pictures. Just went for another drive and they are smooth and quiet for an AT, but I’m sure that will change with wear. 36 psi cold (it’s 95F here, so cold is relative) seems comfortable for the E-load.

Edited to add photos of sidewall.

How's your mpg's with the C load range. Am strongly considering that exact tire.

Here come the delays for those of us with stock Sports that want these tires... I ordered a set of ATIII's yesterday via the Discount Tire website and ended up receiving a call later in the day explaining they were out of stock and he would try to track a set down for me. When they called back yesterday evening it was explained that the 265/65R17 is on a 60 day backorder but he was successful in finding a set that will be shipped here from an Arizona store (i'm in central Indiana) who had a set the customer never came in for. Fast forward to this morning and I call the store contact/manager to discuss the possibility of selling them my existing set of A30's and the spare in exchange for a 5th ATIII. Thankfully they agreed with only a $50 increase in the total price, however he is having to get that one shipped from another state as well because the warehouses are completely out of stock, even for one tire. My guess is that winter right around the corner the delay/backorder will only get longer.

If you're wanting a set of these and will need the soon it's recommended that you start looking immediately. Pics coming after the install which is preliminarily scheduled for next Saturday.

Agreed. Supply chains are dry. I was putting a new pair of tires on my TRD OR 2020 and had three tires I was interested in: The Falkens, The Toyos and the Nitto's. I am in the Northeast and the only tires that were available were the Nittos because I was staying in the stock size. Otherwise, 6 to 9 month wait. Tire shop said maybe longer.

SimpleTire got me my ATIII’s in less than 5 days shipped out of a Las Vegas warehouse. Everyone was not showing them in stock, local Big O and Discount Tire all said they couldn’t get them. SimpleTire had a massive list of local installers, including Big O. I had the tires shipped directly to the Big O a few blocks from my house. Big O installed them and the whole process was easy.

Maybe give that a shot if you haven’t already. It was weird that Big O couldn’t get them, but SimpleTire could and Big O is a install partner.

I'm in NY ... and we don't have those great tire discount places that sell all kinds of off road tires that, well, everyone in the rest of the country has. I was able to get the Nittos and went with those. I am also dumb and old fashioned. I buy from the local tire shop even though it costs a bit more. But I always felt bad about doing something like Tire Rack, etc. Worth supporting the only local tire shop not too far from my house that is focused on off road. They are nice people to boot so it feels worth it. Wish I could have really looked at the Falkens, Toyos and the Pirellis in person but just didn't have that option unfortunately ...

Wish I could have compared those in person to the Nittos ... they look great. Mind me asking how much per tire?

SimpleTire.com is a website. Try it and see what local installers are available. $202/tire, free shipping to installer.

Got the new shoes dirty in the high Uinta mountains here in UT. Nothing crazy, but flexed the suspension to make sure they cleared. Played around in a little ATV playground, I was the only truck but did it all. So far so good. Tires did great in the rock and moon dust conditions. Tires also smooth on the highway up to 85 mph. Happy so far.

Tire shop just sent me these pics, went with the same size as my AT II, 255/80R17. Will get them mounted on Friday. Good photo of the aggressive vs. mild sidewalls

Also threw some 886s in last night, ended with a just shy of 3" of total lift but I think CV angles look ok still.

Just transitioned to a 2020 4Runner (hopefully still welcome here) and had these mounted yesterday (285/70/17 C load).

Very pleased with the look of the tire, I'm hoping the performance will match. Lift is going on next week...

Looks great! Still stoked on mine. First road trip on the 255/80/R17 E-load from SLC to Moab/La Sal Mountains. Got 17.5 mpg with bike rack and Mrs. and kiddo’s bike. No MTB for me this trip, still only 9 days out from knee surgery. OV Tune also helping with the 33’s and mpg.

Toyo’s are smoother and ride better than my C-load 265/75/R16 Cooper AT3’s. I even have the Toyos at 35-36 psi cold, 39-40 psi warm and they are comfy. Guessing it’s the extra sidewall and compliance from that. Everyone saying E-load rides harsh isn’t what I’m experiencing.

I’m getting a small amount of rub occasionally on my fender flare/RokBlok mud flap. I can trim or I’ll likely have my SPC’s moved from D to E position to eliminate the little rub I have. That will move wheel forward a little and still have me at 2.5/2.9 caster. Loving the SPC’s for the adjustability for rubbing.

Yeah I just threw these 886s on this week (had 885s that sagged) so I was worried they’d have a hard time getting it aligned but they got it perfect. JBA for the win

Do you have pics of how the old tires looked before the 886s? How tall was your lift with just the 885s? Did you have to do a cab mount chop for the 33s?

Same angle, same size tire. Maybe 1.25” lower? They sagged over time, especially adding the winch. No CMC
