You thinking of running north trail on Friday? I’ll be there trying to get a campsite. On the Canada day long weekend it was ridiculous how busy it was. Hoping to get the big site closer to the north trail.

@Windigo we can convoy up if you want. Leaving Cambridge Friday morning so let me know when and where you are leaving from and we can meet up.

 

I'm usually never there on a long weekend so I don't really ever have a problem camping. I usually stay right at the water, the small beach there.

I'll bring my rtt so I can rally set up just anywhere for the night.

Since it's always a game day decision with me ill meet you there.

"Game day" meaning things come up that take priority to my trips so best not to make plans that I might not be able to keep.

 

We go a bit deeper towards the north trail. Still on the water but less crowded and not as much traffic as at the beach.

can send you coordinates worst case and you can text me if you are able to meet up. No stress.

I am hoping it will be the usual one we always stay at a bit further down past the beach. I am just not sure exactly where we will be because of the crowds.

Sweet! Just to confirm as I saw it listed above... What's being taken car of and what should we bring? After the first night in Ardbeg we change camp sites to the VMUTS North Bay? I have multiple tents, just want to get a feel as to what one I need to bring as this is my first meet.
Also (sorry, noob) is there a discount code for the VMUTS to use at the checkout? I'm assuming we only need the 3 day pass for Saturday-Monday. Sorry so many questions

 

No worries at all!

froday and half of Saturday we will be in ardbeg. Head down to north bay to explor vmuts Saturday and Sunday. Then hit up minden on Monday.

Tent wise, some have singles “swag” cot tents, some have rtt’s, I have a 7x7 gazebo style tent. What ever you are comfortable sleeping in.

for vmuts I haven’t personally gotten the discount code yet but I think you use something through of4wd. I have to double check and maybe @llamasmurf can help us out with the details on that (sorry Wes, I feel like you set that up for some reason or your better on the computer lol)
