Maybe you two can sort it out and get this thing done and not be overt as it is.

Why start a thread? Just do it like most everyone else. Vote with your money because if the business and model truly sucks, they won't be in business long.
It's how it works. Write a crap review and move on.

Waaaaaa! You realize a lot of shipping is fucked up right now. I probably woulda canceled and refunded your second order as well, cause you seem like a pain to deal with.

Not really. I've worked in customer service. If they couldn't deal with a problem this small they shouldn't be operating a business.

Someone posted above that the seller is supposed to deal with lost packages, per the rules. Now customer asks to please not ship using usps, they dont listen and use usps anyways. Super simple solution to satisfy the customer, which is to use ups or fedex. It's not a crazy demand...

I just checked, it's a company that got famous off social media. No surprise.

I’ve worked in customer service for 20 years a different facet not shipping. I stand by my statement.

I think you’re thinking of two different companies. FreshMexican is Tacogarage. OP is talking about @runnin4tacos

I just realized we were talking Cash on Delivery. This whole time I was trying to figure out what Call of Duty has to do with any of this?

But this whole thing could of been avoided by them driving the extra 0.5 miles to fedex or ups. What's so hard about that?

I once sold something to a guy in Canada who asked me to not use ups because the service isnt good for border crossings, I said yeah no problem, literally drove an extra half mile to fedex. I spent like an extra 2 minutes of my time....

I hear ya man, yes he definitely could have done that. There’s also a multitude of reasons why the seller might not have wanted to and the chance that USPS is going to lose his package a second time is unlikely. Anyways, if I were OP I would probably just move on and order from someone else.

The one time you sold something isn’t exactly the same as trying to please hundreds of customers at the sometime each with their own preferences and nuanced requests.

True but you're willing to lose a customer just because you dont want to spend an extra 2 minutes of your time? I just dont understand that.

I've worked in customer service and have done hundreds of requests I didnt understand, this one seems like nothing to me.

I have no idea. I won’t speak for them. I just find it fascinating that everyone on TW is a customer service expert.

It may seem like nothing but it kind of is. First off USPS is typically the least expensive delivery service. If you’re mailing out multiple packages per day, possibly multiple times a day, having to run around to USPS, then FedEx, then UPS can really add up in both time (driving in traffic, waiting in line) and money. Plus everything is a bit of extra hassle currently with Covid and general tensions between people. Things are moving slower and generally more annoying, having to wear a mask and going to multiple locations exposing yourself to more people yada, yada. I understand OP’s frustration but coming on a forum to bash a business over something pretty petty is lame. Especially for a mostly cosmetic accessory. It’s not like he was waiting on a full skid set that he needed for his big trip to Moab that he’s leaving on tomorrow.

Not to make a big deal here, but it doesn’t appear the OP asked for an alternate shipping method until the standard method of shipping obviously failed.

Next thing, this is about business. 1) You are selling products from probably the most innovative and trusted member on TW (at least for 3rd gens). 2) In doing so, you are advertising parts that are being paid for by customers, yet they are not being delivered in a timely manner. I’m no rocket scientist but if you are offering parts and “running a business” you have to ensure your product is not only available to hundreds of people in a timely manner or it’s not fair on the customer service side of things. Not trying to debate, but given the situation and the fact that the OP technically waited months before making a stink about it is a little clue he’s just trying to get his product.

To be fair... We in I ordered straight from Meso (same product) I had mine in less than a week.
