They've got a max inflation of 80 psi if they're an E1, or 65 psi if they're an E2. Either way, you're well below the max inflation. Again, that's what worked best on MY 2nd gen. Your setup is different than mine, and could feel completely different.

LT’s are weight based, 50psi is WAY to much. 36psi for 255/80/17

I run 28psi in my 315’s, as that is what the load index calls for.

I run 36 in my C load ridge grapplers. They seem to like it there.

If you're going by the load index conversion from your door placard to your current tire, that's the MINIMUM pressure to run in order to support the weight listed on the door placard.

Yeah I always ran 35 in my 255/80R17s, but again. Don’t know why they got choppy on the outside?

Alignment being slightly off is possible.

May be. I didn’t get it aligned after adding the winch, I expect it dropped the front just a bit.

o_O 32-35 was the sweet spot for e-rated tires on my old Tacoma. Do you air up your tires before you go off-roading for a smoother ride as well?

As I've previously stated, my setup on my 2nd gen was most likely different than the setup on your Tacoma. My Tires were likely different than yours as well. Considering these variables, as well as others (how many people you keep in cab, weight upgrades, etc.), my ideal pressure on my specific rig. And why on earth would you air up your tires to wheel? Sounds like something crazy Lexus folk might do...

This is the internet. I'm not offended by shit. Feelings aren't hurt, and at the end of the day, his experiences with tires are different than mine.

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

50psi on an E load sounds super high...to me and my setup. I’m assuming he had a similar line of thought and decided to have some interweb jokes in reference to wheeling.

Alive and well in hippie-douche hell. This town has changed a lot in the 15 years since I was last up here.
