I woke up to a sunny and beautiful day today, so I decided to wash my 2010 reg cab, then I got a little froggy and debadged the tailgate, along with painting the front emblem black. I cleaned it really good with dish soap, dryed it then went to town with about 7-8 very thin coats of Krylon. Its been drying now for about 2 hours, so I am about to put it back on and pics coming very soon.

I just wanted to see how the emblem turned out to give me confidence to possibly paint my grill black instead of buying a super white grill.

I really like the front emblem painted black... I HATE chrome and the front emblem is the last chrome thing on my Taco.

    What paint did you use?

Krylon gloss, it held up pretty nice. I think I might sand down my grill next weekend and try to throw some of this stuff on it, wish me luck. If it don't turn out then I'll just pull the trigger on a color matched one.
