As far as wring goes it's pretty simple. I used an add-a-fuse and tapped power from my acc fuse. Ran that wire to my carling switch, then ran the positive from the switch to the bed lights. I grounded my lights on the 10mm bolts that hold the fender brackets (1 on each side). It was really simple.

I'm assuming the lights were wired in parallel? Vs coming from the switch to one, then out and to the in of the other, then out and to the ground? It looks great! What good are those cubbies anyway? I've never found anything that can fit in there. Also, where exactly did you get the switch?

They look like carling switches. And yes you would want them in parallel otherwise you would only have 6V on each light

I really like this mod. I will have to look into it.

Nice work. The bins are useless anyway, this makes good use of them :)

Thanks, I'd never heard of mud uk yet. Wondering if I could get your thought on something though. What about wiring two switches to the lights? One in the cab and one in the bed? The wiring should be simple enough, maybe even use the special on-on carling switch? http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/Carling_Switches.shtml I don't know why you would need the special switch, it should be the exact same as a on-off. Any thoughts from you holy light master?

Rain won't affect the lights, they are weatherproof. The lights are made to be outside
