It was in a bucket full of simple green. I got it from guy who was dismantling his aluminum foundry in order to retire and so the thing was caked in aluminum. Came pretty clean though. Couple tweaks here and there and its running smoothly.

The Runner seats have nice side bolsters to keep the driver in place as I recall. The cruiser seats are flat without any type of bolsters and not good for keeping the driver in place on curves.

So when I was out wheeling last weekend I was sliding around in the seats on rough terrain. Reminds me of the time I AutoX'd a car with leather seats. I was sliding all around in the seat on corners. I really prefer cloth seats in vehicles where I will be driving aggressively to keep from sliding around when the seats have no bolsters.

This isn't rubbery, I thinks it's an acrylic or somethig. No idea on the cleaning yet since it just got sprayed on about an hour ago.

There are options for a suede insert that would prevent you from sliding around on leather seats. They look good, feel nice and work well. I didn't opt for that for the 4R tho.

Came with, was just cleaning it at the time. I do need to find a vice for it though.

Major L today guys. I got one side of the core support off but it took all 3 of my drill batteries. The harbor freight spot weld bits are also not very usable. I’m at a nearby Home Depot but I’m thinking I’ll just take that as a practice run and come back to another yard more prepared. Could also drop $400 rn and go back before closing. Not sure...

I wish you good luck, those types of vises are spendy. Anything remotely similar to machine tooling is pricy. I can't even get a beat up Kurt vise cheaply. But you can get the Chinese clone ones new for like $300

You can get cheap vises for that from Harbor Freight that will get the job done.

No kidding, prices just go straight up once you get out of home-game stuff and start going more professional. I don't need anything crazy good, but I'll watch craigs for a while and see if anything pops up. Maybe pick up something like this for the interim: https://www.amazon.com/Irwin-Tools-...ywords=drill+press+vise&qid=1595706880&sr=8-4

Nope. I don't do enough fab work to justify it. HF one does just fine for my needs.

The big panel I have some stuff that I will be mounting in it just to clear up some space on my desk right now. All the extra stuff I have no clue. May take it into work and play with it there.

Side note. The Starrett precision bubble level with clino adjustment, has to be the biggest piece of expensive shit I've ever encountered
