Should go get it. Long as the wiring is good it should be an easy fix.

Eh if someone sees it’s a fire it may still be there. Not worth the drive?

find a good bbq restaurant in the area and get food there. If the grill is still there, yee haw. If not, it’s only 40 minutes for a new bbq experience. Sub whatever cuisine you want.

Pork loin. She’s running hotter than I wanted cause the wind, so we’ll see what happens. No hurricane for us, but it’s pushing some good wind and rain thru SE Tejas!

WTF is this beard wax you speak of?! Bacon grease works just saying...

Speaking of Flannel just got my order from Orvis. 5 bottles for the dogs that fit the Wing Works vest. Here sitting in the back of the truck.

I write D on the bottles on them for Dog they chew them up but sometimes we end up sharing. Can never have enough and they finally went on sale at Orvis.

    Along with another Cordura shirt.

    shirt and bottles.jpg

Cordura is hard to find anymore have a few from over the years. And wool from Woolrich and Pendelton. Damn hope like hell that doesn't make me a hipster. Damn it.

Yesterday went to Costco and tried to get 2 packages of thick sliced bacon and they said I could only get one, bastages!

Did let me get out with a Prime Tenderloin roll though will likely do a filet from it tomorrow.

    filet minon.jpg

Also got away with a 3 pack of Choice ribeyes. Will be throwing one on in a minute the other 2 are already in the freezer. Doing a few other things first.

    Ribeye squash spargus.jpg

So damn hot and humid water is rolling off the outside of the windows. Heat index is up around 100° and the dogs don't even want to move. Need to go mix another drink before I throw the steak on. Spitting rain it is so humid. 26" kettle is perfect once again no electricity and seal works for moisture, just saying.

Thank you! Have a similar grinder Black and Decker that is years old. Has done a lot of hares face mask for fly tying. Not something I want to use for spices LOL.

This jerk got into my garage and destroyed a bunch of stuff, from my kids' sports balls to a window sill. He just chewed on everything.

See where he's sitting? Over 7 feet off the ground? On my BBQ pellets? Yeah, he pissed all over those and I had to throw them away. Spray is water to try to scare him away. If my house wasn't on the other side of that drywall he would have been shot where he sits.

In other news it's looking increasingly likely that we'll be relocating to Texas next summer.

Had takeout from local place called Haywood Smokehouse. Pretty good. The Burnt Ends Baked beans were REALLY good. Menu item right there @Bigdaddy4760

This is the brisket, St Louis Ribs and Texas Toast.

ak to tx that’s a hell of a move. We’re actually looking at doing R.I. to Texas soon too.

my husky took out two of those bastards. She lost the first fight (dragged it out of a drain pipe). The next one she dispatched in the woods and carried it home to show me she won. And then the third one she tossed into a lake and drowned it and then carried it out.

she was great with children though.

My first husky would take out a possum in a heartbeat. Someone forgot to tell him they are supposedly going to tear a dog up.

I have always shot porkies on sight, one of the only game don't give a damn what the regulations say. Every pull hundreds of quills from a dog you understand...

Although I want someone to pull the dog away first and not encourage them though with the sound of a shot. Porkies are right up there with mosquitoes and if both disappeared from the face of the earth it would not bother me a bit.

Largest porkie my guy in the avatar ever treed.

Bastard came down the tree right after I took the picture. Dogs ears are laid back because I was giving him full Edison strength on the e collar. And once the porkie hit the ground wasn't enough I had to shoot the damn thing. And throw it in a fork of a tree as soon as I did so someones else's dog didn't get quilled. I've known dogs that have died from being quilled.

Hope I mentioned I hate the damn things.

Living in NC during and after I retired from the Navy a lot of people there were from Texas and also the Northeast. Damn half backs. Both are extremes and NC is about the perfect place in between, half way in between. But now everyone knows it. Just saying...
