I'm running the stock alloy 16x7 TRD sport wheels, which have a +30 offset, according to the 'wheel size' sticky, I'm looking at a set of American Racing wheels, which are 16x8 and have zero offset. The compatibility chart on American's site says they will fit (clear the brakes). When compared to the Ivan Stewart TRD wheels, they are almost the same, the Stewarts have a +01 offset, so just a silly millimeter difference. I plan to run 265/70 -16 tires. The truck is a stock height 2011 SR5 DCSB 4x4. I don't think I'll have clearance issues up front when at full lock, because I have 265/75's on right now, and they only touch at full lock whenever I hit a bump, and that's just barely.

What I'm wondering is, will the wheel/tire combo stick out past the flares ? 30 mm is about 1.2 inches that the new wheels will stick out further. I'd like to hear from anyone who has had the Ivan Stewart wheels and 265/70 or 265/75 tires and how they felt about the fit. Pictures would be really nice. I don't mind having the outside sidewalls of the tires flush or even a half- inch past even with the fender flares, but I don't want the truck looking like a big roller skate.

Actually, I'd rather have a set of Ivan Stewart wheels, but can't find a set close enough to me that I can go pick them up (150 mile radius of Hickory, NC).

On my Tacoma, I had the Toyota 'beadlock' wheels 16x7.5 +10 with 285/75 tires. The sidewall was flush with the fender.

These are 0 offset. With 265/70 17s. Slight lift with the TRD Baja suspension and Icon AAL pack. Only rubbing was on those little front mudflap doodads at full lock. Easy fix.

While I like the perfect flush fit of Replica's tires best, I can live with the very slight protrusion you have. I just didn't want them looking like the trucks you see with foot-wide tires and half the tire was beyond the edge of the fender.

This is what I'm looking at, but still open to something I find that I like better:

I suppose mathematically, @Bikinaz wheels shouldn't stick out anymore than mine did. His wheels are 10mm more outward, but there's 10mm less tire (on each side) to stick out. But his rims may be wider. The tire itself will vary by model too :notsure:

I guess I should clarify. Mine are 16x8. So your tires are wider but the outer edge of your wheels are set in more. My wheels are wider but my tires are narrower. I don't see much difference as far as how much tire is exposed in the end.

Just to clarify....you said "Sport" wheels. Those are 17×7.5 with a 30mm offset.

Assuming you meant OR wheels. But just making sure.

    Wheels/Tires.
265/75/16’s on 0mm 16x8 rims. Bad picture, but the tread of my duratracks are flush with the truck, and the sidewalls protrude by 3/4”. Maybe 1/2” more than Bikinaz’s tires.

Oops....yes, they are 30. I was thinking about the Trail rims I used to have. They're 15.
