Evening Phil! Looking forward to seeing some ground clerance under your truck! Are you bring wheels and tires too?

I'm gonna have to run the tires that are on it now. I didn't want to commit to a certain size. I wanted to let the truck determine the size of the tires. I'm really hoping to stay at 255/75 or even a 255/80 at the very most.

 

Gotcha! Well it will be fine until you get your tires!

 

It should be. I'm shooting for 2". Plus, my tires are a little "stuffed" anyway from all the weight I've added. I also went with a 255/70 when I bought them.

 

Your truck is pretty heavy did you get heavy springs?

 

Yeah, I went with the rear 880lb ones and 600lb in front until I get my ARB/winch.

Skids were put into the decision when talking with Mike. I decided not to get the heavy front springs to start with b/c he thought it'd be a pretty harsh ride. Mike said the 600lb springs will easily give me the 2" lift I was looking for without having to adjust the struts all the way out.

 

Even with the added weight?

 

Yeah. When I go with the ARB/winch, I'll have to get the heavier springs. I just don't know how long it'll take me to get those so I'll just have to buy $180 springs again

 

yep. planning on using for deer dragging. that sort.

 

I don't hunt, but I'd damn sure ride that thing to/from the shitter
