Im a HH user.....if i had bought the regula flash kit, i would've done the 04b04 TSB myself....Just cant find a good J2534 obd2 for that purpose

 

That's what i thought, Handheld Pro user don't have any issue with the software. Just this Handheld - Flash Kit Accessory.

From all the posts it seems so, However, My “Final” not so Final seems to work. I had quirky issues with all the other tunes (except 1.05.1 87 base) on my 04B04 but this last iteration sans GL is working well. Power and Shifting. (Edit, I’m also the guy using Sprint Booster and ECT on Alway’s (which Mat @ Ovtune Frowns upon and does not recommend. Only use at your own descrestion and DO NOT BLAME OVTUNE for the Consequesnes.)
I’m almost thinking there are certain 04B04 that are behaving different than other 0B04’s. Pardon my miss spelling, it’s hot out and I’ve been drinking again.

 

I got 24 mpg on a trip to my parents house today in my 04A61 truck. Best I’ve EVER done in the past 2.5 years was 20 and change.

 

I also bought the Accessory Handheld kit on Labor Day last year for 04B04. I have still not been able to use the HH. I asked for a refund a few months ago and Mat said it will be functional when 2.0 final releases. Even if and when it does work it seems useless if you plan on using Vf Tuner since it won’t be compatible. I already got the VF tuner upgrade so I’m just considering the HH a loss.

04B04 2.0 stock premium tune, running and shifting great. Only mod is 265/75/16 Cooper SL tires.

My only wish is the octane range go from 87 to 91, that's what we have here in Kansas. There's a 50 cents difference between 87 and 91, so close to $10 per fill up.

 

I'm really considering the ATMs in 265s as well. I currently have the Cooper AT3 4s in P245/75R16 and they've performed very well. I'm going to keep them on my stock wheels so I'll have a full spare set of spares if needed.

I bought this HH before the vF announced. And when you paid for something you want it work or you get refund, exchange or credit.

Yes, i did. I even reply to an email when they send me to tunes for HH.

The HH in this video is not the same for the Flash Kit owner.

Yes, i did downloaded the stock tune first. The process said complete. But no tune stored in the device.

Definitely two different HH kits; one for logging, flashing, etc and one just for flashing OVTune provided tunes. Wish I had the specifics at hand for you.
