I see UCA and LCA thrown around. Are you doing you upper arms or lowers?
I have a set of lowers for sale if you're close by.

I read UCA in post #1 but now I see in the title it says LCA.
Now its got me worried that I've been giving input on the wrong parts this whole time.

I assumed it was LCAs because of the title too, not sure which now lol. I don't think Whiteline sellls UCA bushings for the 4runner/tacoma, so LCA might be a safe bet.

Yes it's true. Pics in my build thread. It's only an issue when you disassemble to relube. They should be hardened in my opinion. Last time I took it apart to maintenence, I bought new washers for $15.

Well I can live with that, 15$ isn't bad for new washers every relube.
It shouldn't be tough to find a metal shop that could make hardened copies either.

Thanks for the input guys! Has anyone tried the double camber offset bushings for additional adjustment. From what I've been reading it looks like mainly the Aussies use these. I checked the part numbers and the Toyota Hilux LCA part number is the same as Tacomas, so the Hilux offset bushings would work on our trucks. Anyone have experience with these?

It's a damn shame this issue exists at all. Can you see this washer deformation causing issues down the line?

Curious to hear feedback about these as well.

Any one have any experience with these offset bushings? The whole assembled LCA's with standard or offset bushing and ball joint, shipped is only like $500. Just having my the LCA's already setup with polyurethane bushings and new ball joint is worth $500. But the double offset has me intrigued. combined with SPC UCA's you should be able to move the wheel further out and still get alignment in spec.

These look fantastic! I am curious if their UCA bushes would fit in my Ironman4x4 UCAs. I'll have to send out a few email inquiries.
I'll share any information I can get on the lower arms and bushes if they get back to me.
They don't have a huge amount of information online but they are well established and have a good reputation. Similar to Ironman4x4, which is why I was confident going with their products in the end.

    +1 on real world experience.

I’m currently working on a sealed uniball conversion for the stock lowers at the moment. You press in a machined aluminum insert into the stock lower and then the uniball goes into the insert with dust seals pressed over. Very similar to what I do on the LT kits

It's only an issue if you disassemble and reassemble with same hardware, IMO.

Dumb question, but how often should you disassemble/grease LCAs?

It depends on how quickly the bushings lose grease. I think use case matters too. Like water crossings. I crossed two rivers in two years. That's never good as water can help wash away lubricants.

In my case I knew it was time because the bushings started making a little noise. And it was the right call to as they needed it.

Ironman makes some good stuff! I still run Ironman coils, I loved their shocks, but last time I needed to replace one I couldn't find one in the U.S. so I switched to Dobinsons.

A bit off topic, but how do you like the Dobinsons shocks?

43330-09510 should be the Toyota ball joint that fits the 2005-2020 Tacoma 4WD. It is loaded in the Toyota USA system and may be orderable at USA dealers.

I found a post from a guy on a 4Runner forum that installed the offset LCA's. He posted the alignment printouts. They look pretty impressive! If I could verify that they would fit Tacoma's I'd order some!
