    Running 285/70/17 on bilstein 5100 / OME 885 matched with Rear on 2” block! I think the 885 settled to like 2-2.25”.

    trying to decide if 17x8.5 with 4.75 bs and 0 offset or 17x9 with 4.60 bs and -12 offset, anyone know which would rub less?

    Highly suggest regear, I'm on 285/70/17 (no rubbing, even light offroading. Haven't fully stuffed the wheels yet). I would go 5.29, just got those done and they're amazing. I can give you the alignment info for my truck if ya want

    5100s and OME 885 coils front, 5100s and AAL for the TSB leaf pack (overload left in) rear. Jeraco camper shell.
    I'm sure it's been said a million times, but offset matters most to avoid rubbing the factory fender wells and cab mount locations with these tires (roughly 32.8"x11.4"). Based on what I've read and my own experience, -10 to +10 is the sweet spot, 0 offset seems to be perfect. Any more offset you run the risk of rubbing steering and suspension components. Less offset changes the angles and rubs the cab mount. Alignment also has some role in fine tuning this. It really boils down to what you want.

    Got mine put on yesterday. 285/70R17 Falken's. Method MR305's with 0 offset. 2" Dobinson lift. Have some rubbing on the front inner fender. Will play around with that today to see if I can make it disappear.

    Spacers push the wheels out and increase scrub radius, thus causing more rubbing.

    Understood, but in my situation, because I have stock 16x8 wheels / no offset, I am pretty sure the 285's will not fit without rubbing the UCA or I need spacers to avoid that rub. Which may cause me to CMC, but no biggie.
    I just don't want new rims. I guess we'll see soon. Trying to hold out as long as I can before dropping a grand.

    No rubbing on UCA with appropriate offset /(4in of backspacing), however like Beef Nachos said, my offset made the CMC necessary, I also had the pinch weld flattened for good measure if I ever wanna go larger. Most of my rubbing was on fender and the cab mount. I also trimmed plastic. I have no rubbing at all now.

    Went up to 285/70/17 Wildpeak AT3w’s today from 265/70/17 ko2’s. Truck definitely feels slower off the line and I was rubbing quite a bit in reverse and on turns going up/downhill. Had a CMC done prior to this so luckily not rubbing there. Time to cut some plastic :sawzall:

    No I haven’t regeared yet...but thinking 4.88’s could come sooner than later

    And I ended up going E load. I know it’s probably overkill for this truck but I’d rather have the peace of mind offroad. The wildpeaks also seem like they ride quite comfortably on road even in E load

    Installed Bilstein 6112s, 5160, Wheelers AAL, JBA UCAs and 285/70r17s today! Super happy. Rubs just slightly in reverse on Cab Mount passenger side. Another alignment should fix no problem.
