    You noob.

Prybar wiggles it right out. There is no being nice to the tensioner assembly. You have to sort of wrestle it when it is being stupid.

I hate everything to do with this setup and will be looking into something different asap. *!!{#}]+!~{#*,|%^!

I got this rat pos out. Now to search at every parts store within a 20 mile radius to find not a single one will have a usable belt in stock

I used three. I then jammed a flat blade screw driver (also a prybar) into the stop of the tensioner, got the breaker bar out and then yanked that Screw driver out and let the tensioner slam into its maxed out position

I’m not understanding what’s so difficult. Then again I always remove the fan and shroud first for easy access. ;)

@Murphinator if you are doing this to remove the supercharger the belt doesn't have to be fully removed. Just use the tensioner to get slack in the belt and slide the belt off the SC pulley.

Make sure everything lines up and the belt is properly seated when it's all put together again.

Jesus dude. No. Slamming it into and out of position is a great way to break something! If you have a breaker bar you should probably look into investing into a rachet instead so you can adjust the position and move the tensioner to fulll engage and full relief without having to let stuff slam into and out of position.

went to mexico today. quick 2 second right pedal off the line enough to fully extend front shocks. nice:) left the brand new STI subbie in a state of wonder and humility. he fell back and merged behind. its a beautiful day.

Yes yes I know it’s bad for it. It will probably fail soon, hopefully not while I am on my trip. I plan on doing the rousch tensioner soonish. Problem was I figured the breakbar would be good and easy, how ever it was too long and sandwiched on the frame. There was a very tiny amount of room left that the tensioner had to go to be fully maxed out. I just didn’t want to find my 3/8 to 1/2” adapter since my 1/2” ratchet is full redneck no teef left.

I don't know how long you have been spraying but you may need to check your blower internals bro. I have read some stories about corroded bearing casings and other corroded elements.

@TRON might have more long term feedback.

Hang on. The issue may had been the use of homemade windshield washer fluid and using not using distilled water in the instance that I read about.

As far as I've ever been concerned water is water as well. It's the same philosophy I take on coolant. Distilled or nondistilled it really doesn't mean squat to me. Lol.

I used a 7th injector with gasoline for 4 years and then switched over to water/meth for probably another 4/5 years with my TRD blower. Also I’m one of the few who actually rebuilt and saw my blower internals. And the only bearings that might have contact with meth/water would have been the needles and even they were well protected. They had plenty of blue grease still on them when I removed them. I was pretty shocked how well those bearings actually were for how long I’ve been spinning. :D

The two main SC snout bearings are pretty much sealed from all the elements once they are correctly pressed in.

Just make sure @White lightning boosted that you are not over spraying to the point of no atomization.

Most rotor coatings start to have problems with those that spray 100% meth. 50/50 usually won’t cause any problems.
