I've called the Maryland department that handles fuel measurement and quality and they are sending a technician out to test the pumps. But according to the receipt, I purchased E87 unleaded. I'm not sure what it exactly says as it is at Browns Toyota for repair. It's a 2020 Tacome TRD OR. I'll be heading over to RF to snap a pic of the pump that I purchased fuel from to provide as evidence.

Not normally one to go and share stuff like this, but the MD legislature is looking at closing one of the busiest Medevac Helicopter bases, Trooper 2, that covers PG, Anne Arundel, Howard, Charles, Montgomery, and calvert counties. these are the guys that get called when you get hurt to the point where a ground based paramedic unit isnt fast enough or dosent have the level of care you require. also the guys that get called when your boat starts sinking, since they can get there faster than the coastguard helicopters. closing this base also means that helicopters covering other area's will frequently need to leave thier area uncovered while they come to cover trooper 2's area, and that means an even longer response time when your helicopter is out of area. I understand the need for budget cuts, given the coronavirus thing, but this is NOT the place to find them. signing the petition helps, but taking a minute to reach out to your local politicians helps to. we have one of the oldest Medevac programs in the US, and id hate to see it torn apart by politicians that only care about the money.

I'm actually getting multiple PM's requesting prices for parts.

 

I dont work for the program, but through the fire department have run a couple calls with them.

 

... or the deadbeats.

 

Sad that we pay a fee on our tags for the Medevac and they still want to cut it.

Are you still there? I worked on those things for several years before they got the AW139s.
Some of the politicians were always trying to get rid of or privatize the program...

Signed. Several years ago, budget cuts left us with one team here in Cumberland, they cover ALL of Garrett Co, Allegany Co. Waahington Co. and the surrounding area. They had to buy a bigger and much faster bird because they needed to be able to haul people and transport more quickly. Tell me how that saved them money?

 

Retired from FD two years ago. Grounded for life, unless I really mess up and need a Medevac.

 

I understand LKQ parts is looking to sue Dave as a competitor.

 

The older Dauphins could only have 1 patient and 1 Medic. The new ones can take 2 of each.
