30 to 40A in full code?! Damn son the alternator on that police cruiser must've been gigantic! ll get back to you monday when I'm at work and see if I can't find something for you... or do you already have that RV battery charger?

Ugh the maths and physics in engineering is such GD shit show  I'm self teaching myself electronic engineering so I can create my own boards and all sorts of maths fuck me up in that.

Mechatronics is a very specialized field that encompasses alot. On just the the tech school level the education is geared more towards training service technicians for automated machines and assembly lines
... you can take it all the way up to a masters degree where you can become a stamp carrying engineer and be the guy that designs and integrates automated systems for example. I bet with your computer engineering credits you could transfer over into that field fairly easy ... it sounds like more of what you're interested

If only @JKO1998 wasn't passed out on free (keystone light, natural ice, and any other alcoholic beverage that partakes the same aisle at Walmart), he'd pour salt in that wound

and pour lemon juice on top

Haven’t bought anything except the big ass electrical box, the 100a ammeter, the 100a 100mV shunt it needs, and a 0-15vDC meter.

I think the thirstiest bar I’ve got is my Code 3 MX7000, and it does ~36 Amps in full code.

Circa 2000. Just to show you how efficient the LED ones are, I bought a Federal Signal Legend for my truck. It only draws ~5 Amps in full code.

I’ll have to look into Mechatronics. It’s definitely crossed my mind in the past.

Yeah, right there in that sentence. You have tons of issues.

Before we even get started, capitalize the first letter of a sentence. You learn this in Grade 1.

you you claim i have issues?”

#2. You typed “you” twice. Is it really that hard to proofread?

you you claim i have issues?”

#3. You didn’t capitalize the “I”. Poor form, also thought at about 5-6 years old.

you you claim i have issues?”

So in conclusion, yes Dan. You have issues.
