so im about to order a 6 inch kit in the near future and every site says rims have to be atleas 17's and recommended width is 7-9 wide. ive seen some ppl running 16's tho... but i was wondering if you can run 12 wides?

what tire? 12 wides will balloon out pretty much all tires that people run this this lift.

with the desired backspacing to clear the suspension, you will have rubbing issues too.

    I run 33 x 12.50s on a 17x9 with 4.5" backspacing and I had to trim the fender flares a tad.

just gunna run 33 12.50s. but was wonderin if you can run 12 wides on these trucks cause i like my tires wide as i can get em. i got 15.50s on a 14 wide on one of my trucks and 33 12.50s on 12 wides on another one.

so does anyone run 12 wides?

does anyone have mesaurements of how far 12.50s on a 9 wide stick out past the fender?

Mine probably stick out 2 to 2.5 inches past the flare at most
