    Hey everyone,

Long story short, my girlfriend and I are tired of sleeping on the ground during camping trips so we decided to start shopping around for a new tent and matress setup for the truck bed. One option we're considering is a folding tent/bed rack combo. We really like the height and availability of storage you are left with beneath. Or just go with the basic bed tent/mattress setup.

My goal is to find something comfortable, functional and reasonably priced. Something that will work well for my access cab.

I've check around the site and read through several threads but they're mostly outdated and the linked products are non-existent.

So with all that said, what do you guys suggest with experience, price and quality? Anything stand out from the rest?

    Thanks in advance,
    Theo :blahblah:

I love my rooftop tent. I used to have it installed on top of my topper, but high winds @ highway speeds fucked up my cross rails and channels on the topper. SO. I got rid of the topper and put on bed cross rails, so the RTT sits at cab height. Easier to set up/tear down now (I used to have to crawl up on top of my topper). RTT’s are in HIGH demand right now, the one I bought in the spring is now double it’s original price and not shipping til winter.
my suggestion: camp in the bed of the truck. Until everyone starts traveling abroad again and sells all their toys they no longer need.

12v always on power point mod, tailgate anti-theft, Addl bed tiedowns, flyzeye dash lights, map lites with dome lite mod, bed stiffeners, air bags, brake controller, always on fog lights,
Consider a bed tent such as a Napier. Look for one that comes over the back of the cab and has a floor tub. They go up easily, and come down just as easy. Combine that with a pop-up shade canopy and you have space and functionality. They also pack down very small. An air mattress made for your pickup bed increases the comfort level.
